I have a Savage 110 chambered in 7mm Mag, I wanted a 30:06 or 308, but couldn't pass up $250 new out the door. I shoot 160gr C/T Failsafe over 1000gr of H1000, Winchester case, Win 250 mag primer. A great shooter, at an affordable price. People poo poo Lee dies, but I can't argue with routine .5-.7MOA at 100 meters off of a benchrest.
i have a Savage...i thought the model number was 700... but not for positive.. it is a .243
my pride and joy is my .300 Wetherby Magnum, leapold scope, #5 Stainless barrel, synthetic stock, shoot a 150-165 grain bullet..i forgot how much powder i put in it, i have it writtien down with my reloding stuff.
