There are a lot of different ideas floating around out there, and lots of different parts.

If I were doing a swap today, I would do something similar to what Dean and Dick Foster did.

Well, that decision will make your swap a little easier and a little cheaper!

What parts info do you need?

Which truck (Years and MOdels) should i look for Dana 44s on. I read somewhere that wagoneers had them, but which others? what other parts would i need from anyother vehicle. I am thinking of going to the Junk Yard and start hunting.

Most people look for Jeep Grand wagoneer's for leaf spring set ups and I believe the ones doing coils look at the ford broncos. (I could be wrong about the broncos, since I never considered coils) But if I am wrong someone will chime in and correct me.

F100, F150, some F250 and full size Broncos. If you want to do what I did and use the Ford Cs. Not early Bronco as they had low pinion 44's and the first models even had D30's. There is no reason not to do a radius arm or link/coilover setup with a Waggy axle either.

To All,

I picked up the Axle. Its off a 84 Waggy. Are these vaccumm Assist? Its has three hoses hooked up to a piece that looks like a horn on the axle. This Horn Piece has one hose that goes into the axle. Right behind it there is another line going into the axle as well. Are these Vacumm Assist?

Sounds like you grabbed the wrong axle. Most 84-86's were vacuum actuated I believe.
