2000 Tacoma "Desert" Prerunner

Long story short it's been getting harder and harder for me to afford my truck lately. Mostly because of switching schools and moving. I'm working on getting a more reliable DD and selling the old one to fund for the new truck when this one is sold. There is nothing wrong with it I just need a more reliable car for the next couple years as I switch from college student to "the real world." So as much as I'd hate to see it go, it unfortunately does.

Specs:

2000 Tacoma PreRunner
2003 2.7L Engine
132,xxx miles on the truck.
New heads off an '03 Tacoma.

Now for the good stuff...

Engine/Drivetrain:

4.56 gears.
Deckplate and headwork on the current engine.
New carrier bearing/u-joints.
Powertrax No-Slip rear locker.
(6) 285/75R16's - Bridgestones w/ Remington's as spares.
Flowmaster 40, cut and turned.

Suspension:

Front:
Total Chaos Long Travel Kit. (powdercoated black)
Gusseted front spindles.
Beard limit straps ~13" Travel.
2.5" 8" Fox coilovers w/ #500 Eibachs.
Mullen Fabworks custom front bumper w/ skid.
Fiberwerx 6.5" custom front glass fenders. (gnar! lol)

Rear:
2.5" 18" Fox Smoothies.
62" Deavers (12.5" arch).
Mullen Fabworks 12" shackles.
Mullen Fabworks bedcage w/ 2 spares & fire extinguisher mount.
Fiberwerx 4" rear glass bedsides.
All rear misc. parts are Total Chaos such as perches, u-bolts etc.
McKenzie limit straps ~ 17.5" travel strapped.

Price: $13,o00 obo

There's some more stuff like CB radio and other little things I can't remember off the top of my head. I've put WELL over $6,000 in the suspension alone on this thing. With a cab cage added you'll have one really slick prerunner for under $15,000.

No it's really for sale this time. Just cause I'll be truckless for a short period of time doesn't mean forever.

I'll be back in black with links and a V8 in no time...can't guarantee the 4x4 though

What type of headwork do you have done? How much power is it putting down?

The heads were ported a little bit and just kind of cleaned up. I didn't do the work my buddy did actually. Well the 2.7L stock gets around 150, so I'd say like 165 maybe? I don't know, it's never been dynoed.

No thanks, I already have another car lined up from my old job actually. It's a 2001 RS with an '06 STi engine/tranny swap

Thanks...did I mention that I just got a fresh revalve and rebuild done on the shocks? This thing has race truck valving in it and can hang with the best...come on people!!
