I just had my oil changed and didnt notice the dealer didnt reset the check engine light? can this be done with out going back to the dealer? also my Ebrake light is not going off when i disgage the Ebrake.. i have a 2005 ex cab 4wd 5spd 4cyl! thanks!

Before starting your engine hold your trip resest button down. You'll see a few lines where your mileage is supposed to be. Hold the button down till all those lines dissappear and the light will go away. As for the EBrake issue it could be a couple things... Best to go back to the dealer for that.

Check your brake fluid, if thats not it...see the dealer.

disconnect your battery for a minute or so. this will reset your check engine light. if it comes back on then somethings wrong.
