I may be down, if we have a late enough start.

Chinamans is going to be a winch fest. From what I've seen, that area has been DUMPED on with the latest snow storms. In fact, i doubt you'd get past the first hard right after the parking lot.

I will be leading a run down there later in the spring. I just don't want to drive 3 hours for 100 yards of trail. I can do that around here.

What about that eagle rock trail? Is that somewhat open?

Pierson Park was awesome fun, the snow was just sticky enough in places to make things interesting.

I wouldnt mind the drive back to Pierson again.

Crystal Mountain/Moody Hill might be open. Not super challenging or anything, but I had fun stretching my legs during the summer/fall when mine was stock, add in a bit of snow or at least icy rock and it might tide you over till better trails are open. It's only 7000-8000 ft so it probably didn't get too pounded I wouldn't think, it's been somewhat dry up here in Loveland the past few weeks.
I'd run up to check it out, but need new tires before I get off pavement (well.. before I get very far off pavement).

My parents were in the area of Moody/Crystal last weekend...lots of snow even on the pavement. Plus that first off camber climb from the TH would be a bitch... You'd be lucky to make it up that.

Did you call about that? Last year the site said it was open the entire year, yet they were nice and gated when we got up there.

I may be up for something up north if we start later. I can't make the early morning mt Herman run, though it looks fun.

Yeah, somebody would end up making friends with a tree.

I would drive to Monument just to see some fresh scenery.

mine still has ice jammed packed in my skid plate and front springs/lca's

granted, i didnt drive it tuesday (until tuesday evening, to go get that tire fixed), or wednesday, or today, nor will i be driving it tomorrow.

Granted, today and tomorrow its getting driven, just not by me. Got the diesel for the next few days

I would do monument, but i honestly cannot afford to drive that far south. Gas is KILLING me in all this winter wheeling.

Something closer to home would work much better.
