Adittional info for you out of staters:

Wellsville is privately owned land, there are 3 main entrances, depending on which we use it will be between free and $10 per person/day to wheel. The trails are by no means groomed or mapped out and conditions change every time it rains, a trail that can be run stock this week may be impossible next week for a guy on 37s. If you are not a fan of custom pinstriping you may wanna pass on this, a lot of the trails are quite narrow and due to recent logging it is becoming unavoidable. Unless by some miracle the ground is frozen trail conditions will be quite slippery so there will be risk for body damage though we will try to help you avoid it. I'm not trying to discourage anybody, just want to make people aware so their are no surprises when they get there

Addittional Camping Notes:
When I say that Oak Tree and Forbidden Zone offer primitive camping that is exactly what I mean. There is no running water at either place and while they have bathroom(s) you could not pay me enough money to use them, Also depending on the weather you may have to tolerate drunken rednecks on quads and sand rails zooming around all night

Lock 30 on the other hand is very nice but it is at least 20min from any of the trailheads so pick what is most important to you

Thanks for the invite Terry, not sure yet if I will be able to make it just yet. that is typically in the heart of my busy season at work, but I will do what I can. Been wanting to run WEllsville since I moved up here, if for no other reason to say I ran it.

But if I cant make it hopefully some of our members will still consider the run.

thanks again!

Default lock 30 campground pics

are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/terryst...7603880992631/

the gravel pads are electric sites, the wooded area is the rustic camping. all sites have fire ring with grate and a picnic table. there is also a clubhouse and a pool but I didn't take pics of them
