Default Cone Washers

Tearing Chicken Runner parts down and am having difficulty getting one of IFS locking hub housings off. Looks to me the cone washers are stuck, I've beat and banged even tried a puller... no luck. Got the other one apart easy as cake.

Soaking in PB Blaster now....

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yep, I just found this. Walked out to the garage, whacked it with a brass drift and popped right out. (knew I should'a searched first)

Looking at all this IFS stuff you'd think there'd be a way to use the spindle and disk to do a full floater rear conversion.... some how....

Thanks!!

you can use it on a SFA front to widen it, so never get rid of that stuff

Cool, have seen the Sky kit... may just have to do that. I've got the wide rear sitting here now in fact, just cut a few of the brackets off it today. I'd really like to full float it - too expensive though!!

I've read where the IFS hubs can be modified for SFA... don't remember what the advantage was though.... maybe availability?

You don't need the the Sky kit. A set of tacomas rotors will keep the brakes in the correct location.

Keep the IFS bodies and calipers.

But still have to have spacers, right? What "captures" the rotors since the Taco's have the lug nut centering deal???

Off subject: got partial permission to hunt the neighbor's place... (long story ) but anyway, the guy that has the hunting rights to it killed a 40lb'er... he wants them gone. Have to make one more call to seal the deal.

Cool deal.. You don't need a spacer.
