SON OF A BITCH.
I ALWAYS end up looking like a dork in some picture. Look at the pic of Molly and Layton (sorry if i got that spelling wrong). Stuffing my face. Ah well, if i was going to look bad, at least it was done while enjoying really good food.

Good to meet all you freaks!
I had a great time... I showed up to heckle and ended up helping to lift a truck (unless his wife asks, then it was just new shocks). |

Andrew, thanks for the help man!
Really made it simple with you doing most the work But ya, you made it go really smooth. BTW truck rides amazing! Handles real well, bumps are nothing, and going 80 on I-25 was soooo much better, actually drives straight now!

Thanks again to Molly and Troy for letting the HOW happen. And especially Molly for keeping us fed through out the day. It was a spectacular display of our Association (club or whatever you want to call us).
And I am extremely happy with my slider project finally getting finished after months of procrastination. I especially thank those who helped with the . I owe you guys greatly. I did get my weld on, but only for a minute. My project started out with a quick check to see what we needed to do: ![]() Kevin and Troy took on this project like their own: ![]() Those two have mastered the weld: ![]() They bossed me around and ordered me to keep a grinder in my hand at all times: ![]() This was prolly after they saw my welding skills. We had to do a little extra fabricating and welding thru the night. Eric got pics of me grinding at about 8 in the dark. I think we finished welding the sliders on at about 9 after reseting the circuit prolly 20 times. Today was the first time I could really see the work. They look fine from here: ![]() Driver side weld: ![]() Passenger side weld or should I say the easy side: ![]() Thanks again for your help. Today I proceeded to paint them to match the bumpers: ![]() As well as touching up some rust on the bumpers and body: ![]() Purty looking bastards: ![]() ![]() Done with that crap: ![]() Can't wait to see what happens at the next HOW.
