Default Tacoma suspension vs a car suspension?

Before I got my 07 Tacoma, I had an acura rsx with a lot of suspension mods. I had it dropped two inches on coilovers with front and rear camber kits and loved it. Now that I got my truck though I've been looking at lifts and I'm just lost.

What are the differences between the suspensions in a car and in a truck such as the tacoma and what are all the basic parts that you would need for the front and rear? Do you need coilovers for the front and leaf springs and struts for the rear? Where do the UCA's come in? Thanks

You know most of it already.
You need coils or coilovers in the front and leafs and struts in the rear.
Thats the basics right there. You then need to decide what kinds of those components you want to use and go from there.
The link you have and the sticky at the top of this section are your best friends on the subject.
