If you see a problem with the content of an article there are several things you can do.
Misinformation - If you see an article that contains misinformation, or an article that is written so poorly that it's likely to mislead, you have a few options.
- You can correct the information. If you do this you had better be sure you know what you are writing about before clicking the edit button.
- You can contact the person who created the article and discuss the inaccuracies.
- You can contact a SysOp so that disputes can be cleared up.
Inappropriate Information - This is an off-road club and the purpose of this knowledge base is to provide technical information and other information related to four-wheeling. If an article is definitely inappropriate (porn/off-topic/flaming/etc.) you have options.
- You can salvage the article if it is worth editing.
- You can kill the article.
- You can contact a SysOp so that disputes can be cleared up.
Vandalism - Vandalism is the defacing of an article with the intentions of annoying other users of the knowledge base. Vandalism will not be tolerated.
- Revert the page to it's previous state.
- Contact a SysOp so that appropriate action can be taken.
