New house and second child took priority at the moment Do have some new suspension seats going in in a few weeks. I really want to get a trailer to tow my junk cause flat towing it is getting a little old and my wife wants to come out, but wants to wait till it warms up a little more so we can camp. Definately be out more in the spring.

Is that enough excusses

I'm gearing up to start wheeling this year. So far I got Icon coilovers in the front, shackles and billys in the rear, 33" Maxxis tires and sliders. Next thing i'm getting is either gonna be welder to make my own skids or just buy some then a locker.

I spend most of my time on the snowmobile in the winter. I just got back from upstate NY, most likely my last ride on snow for this year.

Now it's time to focus on the truck.

I think a good point to bring up is that for some of us (Cindy and I) only have the members from this chapter to wheel with. So the lack of winter wheeling may be not enough posts about a get together for a ride. I would definitly post more open invitations to go ride whenever. Of course if I was stateside at the moment that would help too. Cindy and I try to have people from my work go but they always have excuses( my tires suck, im not built like the magazines, I'd rather go drinking, why do we have to get up at 5 am? etc..) Im sure that everyone may have a good reason(kids,family..lack of cash) but a millon excuses? Come on...Hell I'd even be willing to cover someones entrance fee to do a little wheeling...by the way is the weather getting nicer in PA yet?...Adam

I have been tryin to go out every weekend. I have no issue with cold weather.
I am still new to this and have no idea where to go. my truck isn't that worked so I may have a hard time keeping up.
My wife and I would like to tag along on some trips if anyone Wouldn't mind. I have a friend in a H2 that I go out with but I would love to meet some more Toyota pple.

Well Im glad that the weather has been better lately. Life in the sand is good this time. I'm tooling around with some of the 'heavy' modded Land Cruisers..WOW..thats all I'll say. Im trying to trade in our 3/4 ton shop truck for a Hilux diesel but its gonna take some work.At least im getting more ideas for 'armor'! I cant wait to come back and try to get a little trail time in... hopefully the truck will be a little more done this time around so I try more technical stuff.

done, finished?

common Adam. You should have it figured out by now. Dont tell Cindy this but the truck is never trully done. There is always that one last thing you want to tweak or adjust to make it better then before.

Heres why I havent been out much.

Molly and I bought a house. Moved in on Dec 18th. I saw it coming and realized I couldnt afford any downtime on the taco when I needed to use it to haul and such. Also I had some small things I wanted to get fixed for the spring.

Currently I need to replace a lower ball joint. Also refab some skids and crossmember stuff.

I did also decide I didnt want to try winter wheeling with the T-case brake I had. So I hacked up the stock parking brake bracket and made it work.

Oh how true Andy, the truck is never done and I fear that Cindy sees it coming. I only meant a little more built not done by anymeans....bwaa hah aha aha. It seems like a lot of folks were able to get new homes this year. Congradulations to all that did or or about to. Winter time may just be more prep time for the more frequent wheeling in the spring/summer/fall time frame.

Be active!

Even if its 2 guys people will start becoming more active. If no one is active no one else will follow. We all know theres a inner circle that wheel's and doesnt say they are going, screw them go have fun. Lead by example and be active.
