Speedo Cal.

I am looking to see what ways you guys have done to recorrect your speedos. I have a 99 4Runner with 33's and just regeared it with 4.56. I have heard of guys changing the speed gear in the tcase to help with this but dont know if that is an opition or not? Any ideas?

Thanks

Kevin

Not an option for you. Your speed sensor is based off of your abs wheel speed sensors. You can buy a siginal converter to modify the siginal coming from the abs ecu.

Or get something like an UltraGauge and ignore the speedo cluster.

I know, not what you're looking for - but this way you can constantly recalibrate it - if you regear again, change tires, etc... won't matter.

Edit - I've seen some guys mount the UG where their speedo's are so they don't have a choice but to use the UG for speed .

That is what I was thinking would be the case. What is a good siginal converter?

I'd call SleeOffRoad in golden and see what they recommend.
