Found it in a barn. Gonna take a closer look at it today, see if I can take it apart or maybe get a little bit better idea of what it is.

Had a chance to look at it closer today. Found some numbers on it. Searching the numbers brought up an ebay page that said it was a "Brake Or tire Tool Unknown Use Military".

Does anyone have any better google-fu than me?

Well, evidently they didn't use it properly and there was no e-brake on the tank. It just rolled out of the barn and down the hill.

I told a friend of mine what it was and that I had no clue what to do with it. She said it just meant I needed new toys. When I told her she could buy me an M1 Tank for my birthday, the look on her face was priceless.
