Hello

Hello I am Samantha...I go to college full time and work full time...I just bought my 4Runner in Nov of last year...I am 19 years old....

I go to college for welding and possibly engineering...

I love wheeling...on ATVs and in my 4Runner.....its all stock..and not sure what mods to do to it yet...and being a poor college student dont really have to money to do it yet....

I like snowboarding, concerts, hanging out, 4wheeling, movies...LOVE MUSIC....haha

Well thats all I can tell about myself from what I can rememeber any questions or anything ask...

Welcome to the club.. you'll get plenty of advice as to what to do with the runner... and in trade we can always use tips about welding. I think QuickDraw is doing the welding school thing too (and maybe even PoorBoy, but I can't remember).

doesnt being a broke college kid suck! im an engineering major at CU right now but have been wheelin and workin on building my truck for a while already. you definately found the right group here!

Mucho gusto! Looks like a 3rd gen? Had one of those for a while (175k miles) and it served me very well (I did my first and last solo run on Boulder Carnage WAY back in that rig ) Welcome!

nice to wheel with ya sam! you did great out on the trail i was watching a few times to see what you would do on some of the worse obstacle and with out hesitation you went right up em!

get some tires and armor and you'll be good to go on most of the runs around here!

i know my girlfreind was probally a lil jelous that you were out havin fun in your runner and she was stuck in my truck! haha

see yea at the how i got some work for you and kyle! well for me too, i just havnt picked up a welder in about a year or two

now we need to teach my girlfreind how to drive stick and get her a truck i found a trekker on craigslist with a modded 4.3 and 35s she likes the outside i like the inside. just needs paint and maybe a crawl box but it already has a 6:1 first gear

Yeah i had a great time too...thanks i didnt know how i was doing and i love the feed back lol...kyle and even both said the same thing....i love my tires...lol i spent $800 on them lol...the are great in city but i know not for all trails the pathfinder AT..lol and i can build the armor...lol...

well she didnt talk much too me and we have to get her on the trail....

good deal on the armor i cant wait to see what you come up with!

yea my g/f like to kinda keep to herself most of the time but she doesnt really feel like she fits into the "offroad" crowd and has "nothing" to talk about. so i've been trying to get her more involved with spotting truck identifying and we've been working on diffrent suspention types but thats not going sooo well IFS and SAC's? what!? sac! ewww gross!

well before the other stuff first let me get a CB and we can go from there...lol...i guess now that i think about it i was enjoying my music but it would be a TON easier with one...lol

just saw this. Welcome Samantha!!! I'm in school for preEngineering up here at AIMS in greeley. Quit my 50k job to do it. oops. lots of good people here.

You can do some cheap mods to your runner by: taking those running boards off and welding up some sliders in that welding shop you got there. Use scrap that's lying around and try to make some out of it, you will get LOT's of practice on your welding and grinding.

just my .02

have lots of fun and don't worry about the body damage it's typical.
