I'm a newbie from the Brighton area. I heard about the site from Hurley a few weeks ago and have been monitoring it ever since. It looks like you all have a lot of experience and some cool rigs. I've been a Toyota P/U owner for several years now. I started with a clean low mileage 97 Taco, and put an OME lift and 33" BFG MT's on it. I know this will make you cringe, but the truck was just 2 pretty 2 wheel. I sold it and bought a 92 SAS project that I have been wrenching on for a year now. My current toy has 84 runner front dif, chro mo birfields, 5.29 r&p's, lincoln in rear and powertrax in the front, 3" allpro springs and 2" body, dual t-cases (stock gearing), 35x12.5x17's, 9" bob, etc. It has been an expensive project, that's for sure. I'm still unsure exactly what it will do, but an excited to take it on some trails this spring when I get all of the kinks worked out of it.
Hello everybody, and I look forward to wheelin with you in the near future.
