n00b from the springs

just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. im planning on getting a 2001-04 taco when i get back from iraq. but until then i have about a year worth of reading up and researching parts until i get back. right now im really just curious as to where their are some good trails. ive been up gold camp and old stage but thats really the only two spots i know where there are trails.

Thanks for serving, get home already! Whatcha doing there anyways?

Save up for a solid axle swap for whatever you buy; IFS can be a pain to lift/fix/wheel etc. My opinion may be biased since I've got an 84 pile of Toyota... but facts are facts.

I'm just south of the Springs, got medically retired a few months ago. Stay safe over there (not very possible, I know lol) and read the forums on your down time, there is a ton of info here. I'm guessing you're a communications specialist by your name?
