Guanella

Now I did reference this "run" but no one seemed interested - so i flew this solo, but my gf took plenty o pics. her camera lens is kinda crappy, so the pics aren't extremely HQ, but they're not bad. i picked my favs, click on 'em for larger ones. they blow up pretty BIG when you click on 'em! i didn't resize those at all.

shot of georgetown comin down off the mountain... for whatever reason she wanted to leave the bucket in the shot!

some obligatory posin, ifs gives no flex up front sheesh.

more posin... i think that's all i'm gonna get outta that stock rear suspension

yea, probably the most it'll flex haha!

we truly experienced all four seasons up there today...

this one my gf thought my tailpipe looked like it spewed onto my mudflap LOL

this is probably my fav pic she took, almost dunked the camera taking it haha!

Looks like fun, good pictures. Except for that bucket lol j/k

Ditch the front sway bar and the front will travel a little more, and you've still got a little more before tires start lifting. Stocks not as bad as everyone thinks

Nice. Still a bit more snow up there than I would have expected. Crazy weather year (compared to the past several).

Curious about your route though. You'd mentioned not going the way mentioned on trail damage, but I think I recognize all the pics you posted. Did you take the spur up to Naylor or Cabin Creek?

definitely crazy weather. i just noticed i didn't post the best pic either, d'oh. i'll adjust it in a sec.

as far as my route, i'll post a file that showed it. i was talking about not taking the traildamage route as it doesn't go up to any real 4-wheelin - it stays on the pass road. i split off and go on the trail up to waldorf mine - if you take the right splits. unfortunately i took the wrong split, and the weather started turning sour, so we turned back around.

i'll try to wrestle with Google Maps some more, i'm having difficulties actually mapping out my route...

Gorgeous area. Love that drive. I like the drive up Argentine/Waldorf. Nothing too hard (since I've done it stock) but beautiful.

Ah, Waldorf, that was it. When I first moved out here and before I had a truck I hiked up to there from the pass road once, and I can remember it clear as day (including the creek sharing the road for a few stretches) but couldn't for the life of me remember exactly where it was or what it was called. Definitely a scenic area.

ja i love it up there... tons of camping too. i guess i'll give up on google maps, not sure why i couldn't put down a track and actually save it... meh.

i'll probably be up there this coming weekend as well. i love camping up there, but my gf wasn't such a fan of the terrain... i'm not sure where i can camp that'll make her happy at this point!
