Nice pics Dan, thanks for taking so many! I was leading fast because I knew it was going to take a couple hours to get 8 of us through Liberty. I'll get my pics posted today sometime.

It wasn't Mythica's day from the start. He had tow rig starting issues, fuel
cell issues, and a broken d44 outer (wasn't beating on it either, I'm not quite sure why it broke). He got a late start and we knew indy and patriot was going to be a disaster with the huge amount of traffic lining up at the top. I spotted my little brother down independence in 7 minutes. He then drove out liberty in 25 minutes.

We dropped in and made decent time down to the intersection. The line to head up patriot was huge, behind a broken rig. Most opted to follow us out liberty. We turned around and orange crushed broke a front drive u joint. He got it fixed and we're on our way. A little way down the trail, Mythica broke a driver side chromo outer. He got it fixed and turned around. We had a group of 11 rigs behind us wanting to get out as well (they were stuck on patriot as well).

We were off the trail by 4:30. It was nice finally putting some faces to names and getting out wheeling.

I ony broke once. If I had the right tools I would have been fixed quicker. Needless to say I will upgrade my tool box. I dont believe I have ever seen the trail with that many rigs.

I saw that black 4runner yesterday in Springs when I was heading back to Denver. I think it was around 8:45am, I was in my 09 Tacoma. Not sure the location I was pretty much out of it

Edit: OH that was Scotty haha, awesome 4runner man! Dunno if you saw me or not, mine isn't much just a small lift 33s and some hellas up front

Me & the Orange Crusher

Eric down the waterfalls on Indy

Eric didn't even flinch, the kid's a natural behind the wheel of his Jeep

He nailed the turn and only had to backup once to make the corner. Usually takes us about 4-6 trys to make that corner

Down the last section of Indy

Posing on all the random rocks on the trail

CoToy91 down the slab

Then down the next tough section. Probably the toughest section on Liberty.

Scotty & Aspen

Air Randy taking tough line down the slab with Scotty in front of him

Sick down down the slab, Iroks stick like glue

Nice FJ40 for sure!

Trying to take the hardest lines possible on the trail

Eric's parking spot during the break in action

Pitbulls folding up nicely on the sharp rocks in Penrose

Nice CJ7 tailgate conversion

Testing out his new 5" rear strech with 57" rear springs

Last poser spot on the trail.

I'll throw my pics into the mix. We had a good time even without the pile, carb and single case would have sucked 75% of the day and made it that much worse for everyone else.

Wow! Thats a ton of pics. I only posted what I thought were the good ones. Nice to see others got more pics of all the rigs. I had a blast. Lets not wait a year to do this again. Maybe less breaking.

Oh and to my future wife... Great job! I only broke it when I got behind the wheel. You ran it perfect.

Nice to meet you Orange Crusher. I agree on getting out. Breaking is a part of life in this hobby. I would have had parts for everyone and been helping out if it was Toyota stuff, but it was a bad day for dana axles/ ujoints on this trip

I posted what I had. I didn't get much since I was in the front.

She did really well behind the wheel! You might be out spotting more often if you keep up that breakage record

No problem!

I think it's a tie in the ugly dept. Your square cut fenders and open sheetmetal in the rear tie my interior-less ride and multi-color paint scheme

I don't know. It's gotten worse since I ran it last (over a year ago). Gotta have a front locker (I know you do, just saying it for the others that are reading). Could turn out to be a long day on the trail or a great day driving over some big rocks. Do you have a winch?

No winch yet. I run the stock CV's they have shown themselves to be much stronger than anything else I have seen on the trail yet.
