Jenny Creek 7/16/2011

What a Blast! Thanks again blair1cn for setting this up!

And thanks to blair1cn and todefy for spotting me and putting up with the newbie. I look forward to wheeling with you again.

I finally got to take my built rig out to play and it held up...with one minor exception that I noticed when I was airing back up, but we will get to that.

Got suck a few times due to picking out bad lines, and not having any lockers.

But here are some pics I took, not many due to my camera sucks!

Airring down

Spectators

Second snow drift

Third snowdrift

Fourth and final Snowdrift

Jeep exhaust problems

Break line carnage, but not due to the trail run. Which made driving home real fun. Good thing my e-break works and I have a manual tranny.

Thats all I have, so post 'em if you got 'em.

We saw you roll by on 72 with your flashers on some time after we left. I was wondering if you had an issue. Sorry if we bailed on you early, glad you made it back O.K.
We'll get our pics posted soon.

Did you crimp off the brake line so you had 3 wheel brakes atleast?

No, that didn't even cross my mind. Something to add to my bag of tricks for next time. It would not have mattered anyway It was too late that I got air in the line.

I pretty much drove home no faster than 40mph, and down shifted and used my e-break to slow down and stop.

That guy in the Jeep was tryin to backup and let us pass by, but got the exhaust wedged into a root.

We didn't get past the second snowdrift. Even if we did we had the last snowdrift which unless you put artic cat tracks on your rig there was no way to get through. Plus its not the kind of snow you can bash.

Great day out! Trail is WET! Didn't get any pics of the hole in the middle of the trail filled with mud. Swallowed my 37's and we had to pull Yanman through it on the way out. Will be very interesting for stock rigs right now. Get some extended breathers put on, if you don't already have them.

First water crossing:

Trail goes on like this for a bit:

Bad errosion that we attempted to repair a bit with rocks and logs:

This is the type of run I would do in a stock truck... but I also ran Iron Chest with no sliders.

255/85 16 KM2s, CBI rear tube bumper, Eaton LSD, 2.5" lift

true, and last stocker run we proved that its always the biggest truck that breaks. So the stockers will be fine. Ike and nate need to look out though!

Everyone will be alright out there. The mud hole is deeper on one side than the other (when you're coming IN to the trail, smaller rigs should keep right on the logs).

The creek is flowing and you can't see the holes in it. Dif grabbers throughout. Just be patient and muscle through!

Wish I could go on Sunday....
