First weekend of march- march 2 (penrose)

Planning a trip up to penrose to do independence trail and a few others. Konayota and I are getting ready and would like to see some other guys up there too . I'm trailering my truck up there . Willing to meet up in the springs and convoy up there . Let me know. I've wheeled with a few of the guys on here and would be awesome to meet some new local guys .

I only got pictures of pretty much the same thing and a video flipping it back over. Good timing because my memory got full right at the end when it got on 4 wheels.

Video:

Sorry if it's jerky, photobucket seems to do that lately when uploading it. I might try and upload a youtube version later so it's smoother.

I almost forgot! We figured out where that cop was hiding! OMG it was the most epic spot ever. Did you guys see him on the way back? He was on a side street, behind a berm, at the bottom of a hill, behind some trees. Impossible to see him going south but was totally obvious going north.

Pics loaded; videos were taking way too long on youtube (bandwidth sucks) so I'll do that later.

Here's pics:

I like this one; it came out kinda how I wanted... can't tell what's being photographed with a GoPro.

Omg this one is awesome! I love how it pulled the tires into the fender and makes them look huge. Looks like a "donk" haha

So wakkjobb and I pulled the diff cover and didn't find much wrong
the pinion nut is loose. After we pulled the hub Dan found a crack in the base that kept it from locking into 4wd. New hub is on and 4wd is back!

Great PICS and video Dan (except for the video of your legs and feet).
Thanks for all of spotting guys and Lauren. It was fun to finally get out after being couped up all winter.

All but one broke.

And Russell, if it's a bigger group generally someone will run just Liberty. That's always how it is when we go. Cool Breeze was only going to do Liberty and we were going to tag along just in case. And we're (Dad and I) always fine just running Liberty if you wanted to come down, that's what we do 90% of the time anyway and just watch people on the others.

And sweet video Dan! I liked the close up of the tree branches!

Is Jeff still planning on buying a Jeep? LOL

I don't count a shock hoop or a brake line as broke .

I've wheeled plenty of times with no shocks / I still had brakes on 3 other tires
And I was the one wanting to do more wheeling . Next time my buddy mike- the guy that showed up half way through the day . He has a buggy and we plan on going up again soon . I'll post it up here when we figure out a date .
