OK... many of you saw this around the camp fire at Rocks, but the infamously boring ScubaLuge video (with a 3x replay of the interesting part so you don't have to play it again) is here:

Good lesson on why you never touch the clutch or try to change gears while going down a steep grade. Not to mention you could disintegrate your clutch plate like that with a crawl box installed. It causes the clutch plate to spin at like 20K rpm, tearing it apart.

No crawl box on scuba's rig.

But John your commentary takes this video to the next level of awesome.

I've seen an IFS Tacoma do it. At night. The rockers were so beat up he couldn't open either door when he was done, but it got through.
LOL

I would liked to have seen Wyatt's truck try to take the squeeze though.
I guess this is what you'd call one of those bad choices. Shot hung or poisoned?

Your rig is crawling right up obstacles pretty nicely these days, Nate. I like the duals and higher belly. BTW...No breakage? In an IFS rig? At AZRocks? And on the trails that you ran? Well shit, it doesn't get much better than that.

And yeah, the thing that kills me about the ScubaLuge vid (I edited out a bunch of slow stuff so the boredom wouldn't be too bad) is how slow for such a long stretch of trail Scuba was creeping his truck up to the obstacle, right up until he really needed to go slow -- and then it was balls to the wall and entertaining as hell. Glad nobody got hurt, glad the truck didn't kick out sideways a little farther, flop to driver, and keep rolling.

Thanks John! It's definitely come a long way (both the rig, and my driving). The higher belly worked out really nice! It only got me in 1 spot (first obstacle on H2H), but overall i'm very happy with it. It's nice having everything up so high, and the driveline up out of the rocks for the most part. Yes, thats right, no breakage for me this trip! I didn't wheel quite as much as i would of liked to, but hell; I still had a blast!

H2H, Anaconda, Willow Springs is my "must do" list for next year.

Yeah, I witnessed some of the heckling match, but had the feeling it must have began before you guys caught up to our group toward the end of Upper Ajax.
