The stops I used are from trailgear and I just welded them to the spring plate. Looking back, I should have welded some studs and used nuts to hold them on, but oh well. I have not moved them yet. I was thinking of just extending the plate forward and adding another brace, but I have been less than motivated lately. If I were you I would just box in around the original bump stop mount making it extend forward and then go down from that.
