Leaf Spring experience

What brands, combinations have ya'll had the best luck with?
i got the passenger side lean so i'm getting new or building just want your opinions.

I've bent 3 sets of Downey springs, but i dont think they are even in business anymore:



Then went to 63" chevy's. Loved the ride, and flexed ok:


downside to them was their length, backing up sometimes they'd get hung:


I think some of the guys have had good luck with Ford springs (56" I think). That may help with the hanging on stuff while backing up issues...

Even with the above, I'd still go chevy's again due to the price (cheap!) and how well they worked.

I've got marlins 5' springs on the truck now. got a set of chevy's, i was gonna try all pro which is same as marlin. thought about doing TG yes yes i know. this truck does a lot of work out at the canyon and i need down time to be minimal.

I've got a set of All-Pros that might be coming off soon. They'd be a great leaf spring for you. They flex well but offer some good load carrying capacity. I think they're 5". If interested, let me know.
