Okay, so disclaimer: I'm no electrician by any means and do not like it at all, but I do have the basic knowledge of how it "works"
Now, I installed LED lights in the dome and map and they flicker and are dim just as everyone has previously said. This has been going on for about 2 months and I've been doing some research. These are the two threads I found on this issue.
They both state to put a resistor in the system.

1st ?; Doesn't a resistor do exactly that, resist the power going to the system? The first post in the second thread states that he has 12.6v when the truck is on/ACC and only has .5v when no key is inserted and door is open. If this is the case why would a resistor be the solution?
2nd ?; If I put a resistor in do I need one coming off each light so 3 in total, or can I wire it in from the fuse box?
Thanx for any help..............
