yeah, i know what you mean. i have a '91 now and i want to do a sas on it. tellico is about 3 hours away from me and i'm tempted to start doing the conversion, but my total so far is in the $3000 range. my goal is to get me a new or newer tacoma and then put this one in my shop and start tearing it apart and little by little building it up. my plan is toyota solid axle front with the birfield elim. kit, the sas from all pro offroad with hi-steer, 5.29 gears, arb at both ends, 4.70 t-case low range gears from marlin crawler, a w56 hd tranny from marlin, and 37" tires. gonna be a while.
