  1. Old delphi members

    Off Topic
I was on delphi but not active at all. You all scared me off (for 4 years) when someone broke something on the only trail run I went on. Here's something from the old days...
  2. Pros/Cons Tacoma 8.4 Diff in Front Diamond Axle

    Solid Axle Swap Tech
For what it's worth, our 488 stock class truck runs an 8" diamond on 35's, and it DOES "KOH" everywhere it goes :D. Just 2 ring n pinions in 4 seasons of racing.
  3. Pros/Cons Tacoma 8.4 Diff in Front Diamond Axle

    Solid Axle Swap Tech
Yes, this is what I meant.. I mentioned "setting pinion angle to 5*"... I didn't word that very well. I gave him the measurements for the t-case output, he set the pinion to point at it with the knuckles set for 5* castor. I don't recall the total degree difference between pinion and knuckle...
  4. Pros/Cons Tacoma 8.4 Diff in Front Diamond Axle

    Solid Axle Swap Tech
This might be one of the best things about ordering a custom axle from Diamond. My pinion angle was set to what i wanted it to be (5* for me). yeah too many variables there. But I doubt the difference between an 8" and 8.4 center chunk will have any bearing on your bracket placement. Call...
  5. Pros/Cons Tacoma 8.4 Diff in Front Diamond Axle

    Solid Axle Swap Tech
if you go down that route... 9.5" is weak compared to the tundra 10.5"... what about dana 70? load bolt ford 9"? you can have the "why put something weak" conversation and end up building a KOH axle. also, good luck with setting up normal hi-steer with a 9.5 and mini-truck outers. The arms...

  7. Pros/Cons Tacoma 8.4 Diff in Front Diamond Axle

    Solid Axle Swap Tech
I'm running 8.4's front/rear with a diamond front (65" wms) on 37" kevlars. The diff is not as big as some are making it out to be. No issues with run of the mill high steer setup. The diff isn't really much bigger, it's just a little "taller" with a bigger "flat face" where the housing needs to...
  8. What did you do to your rig today?

    General Discussions
Rich's is an 99. Mine's an 85 with a 2002 motor (full odbii compliant). Guess I'll keep the 32" rollers but cruise over with my 37's and see what they say next time.

Really?! is that state exception? where were you when you were told this great piece of news? Maybe i can finally eliminate the set of wheels I keep around the house for only that purpose.
  10. Rear wheel bearing SST for borrow?

    Maintenance & Parts
Sorry man... KOH is a 2 week thing for me (1 week race prep down in NM, another 8-9 days out on the lake bed.) Sounds like you got it figured out tho
  11. Rear wheel bearing SST for borrow?

    Maintenance & Parts
I have a trashed housing I was going to use for exactly this. I haven't gotten to actually cutting it up. I'm getting ready to head down to start prepping our race truck for koh. When I get back, I'll see if you still need one.

    Past Events – Photos
There's alot of photo/vid of the exit, but I have never found one that comes close to what it actually looks like. Typical problem with any wheeling pix/vid... they never do the obstacle justice.

Sorry, I didn't see this sooner.. I've changed your title now. And yes, these are by far the best stock seats I've ever sat in. I've been on my side a few times and these bolsters held me in place almost as well as the PRP seats I have been in under similar circumstances. Seat covers aren't...

That thing is screaming to be cut up, chevy ls whatever swap, and links. I'm no 40 expert, but I think those ambulance doors are hard to come by aren't they?

So, this has turned into a train wreck of a thread. Let me know if you found your answer, or if you want me to clean all the crap out of this.

Different crowd here these days. There are some of us that still wheel big stuff.. and break.. and fix it ourselves. But the majority on this board these days enjoy just wheeling the mild/scenic stuff (camping, exploring, etc). Think exploring Mormon Emigrant Trail area vs. Fordyce.

I suppose you haven't heard the guy saying "fuck that, I just wanted a fish sandwich for lunch today"? I know reading comprehension hasn't been taught in schools for a very long time, but perhaps.. just perhaps you can read the question in the original post and provide a relevant answer? or...
