I recently ran into a problem with my head lights, they will not turn off after I shut the lights and shut off the truck. Last night I guess they were still on and when I went out there this morning it was making a clicking noise and.... oh yea, the battery was dead. I thought that there was an auto shutoff that would turn them off after a certian amount of time, but even still, I turned them off manually. The only way to get them to go out is to cycle the brights a few times. Does anyone know how to fix this. thanks

Sounds like the Daytime Running Light Controller could be causing problems. That is where I would start. Look around for an FSM online for info on where it is or PM me and I can send you the Service Bulletin on disabling them, should have all the info you need to find it and test them.
