I have a 2000 reg cab 5spd. with stock 15in. alloys with 31x11.50's on them and I am running into a deal to get an '02 reg cab auto with 16in. alloys. Depending on which one the wife wants to drive, would the 15in. alloys fit on the '02 without any problems? (I would be swapping my lift onto the '02 if need be) THANKS

I honestly do not see why not. I don't think anything significant changed on the Tacoma's until this year. I'm quite certain you'll be ok. The only problem I ran into was trying to fit Taco rims on an older straight bar 4Runner. Apparently there was too much backspacing (or too little) where it would hit the tie rods. I honestly don't think you'll have any issues at all.

I was wondering this as well. I have an 04 and might come into a deal on some bling 32's on 15" wheels and want to know if they will fit around the calipers without a 1/4" spacer like i have done on a few other older tacos in the past. I am unsure on the backspacing of the aftermarket rims yet. Hoping 3.75" though. I think stock Tacomas are in the 4" range

I have seen a double cab with the old style 15" wheels, so it must work.
