Has anyone heard if Toyota has issued a TSB (recall) on the 05's for the cabin mount bolts? Is there a web site that lists that TSB's? I have tried a search and can't find one. Thanks.

EDIT: I just found this site...http://www.automotive.com/new-cars/recalls/01/toyota No recall yet.

I'm looking for it too, haven't found anything. I'm tempted to try taking them apart myself, but I probably shouldn't. It's sure getting annoying, and I'm only at 800 miles.

My 05 Is In The Shop For A Banging Noise That Sounds Like It's Coming From The Rear...found Out I Had Two Rear Blown Shocks. They Replaced Them And Took It For A Test Drive And The Sound Is Still There.....i Called Them In Reference To The Cab Bolts The Rep Told Me They Were Calling Calif. To Find Out Some Info. The Noise Comes And Goes At Low Speeds Over Bumps And Semms To Be More Frequent In The Colder Weather

This is exactly what mine is doing. I tried the seatbelt/velcro thing thinking that was it. With 2 people in the truck the other day when it was above freezing, no noise driving over terrible roads about 20 miles to a friends house. About 1 am driving home, 8-10 degrees, it was knocking like crazy. I just searched around on the edmunds site, and found that this is VERY common, and most dealers are taking apart the rear cab mounts and lubing them. But lubing them is definately not going to be a permanent fix. I can lube them myself and wait for a tsb so I can only make one trip to the dealer.

TSBs aren't recalls (i.e. they won't call you to have you bring your truck in), they're more like "be on the lookout for these things when trucks come in for service" bulletins.
