I am getting an 05 double cab and wondering if the rims/tires will swap directly over from my 04 Tundra access cab. On the tundra I have the stock 17" alloys, 285 70 17 BFG AT/KO's, with a 2.75" lift. I plan on lifting the new tacoma about 3", so just wondering if that will work. I tried to search, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have an 05 tacoma and I have a post up titled wheels...help. I dont have much info about your swap but check the model you get because they come with either 17s on the trd sport and 16s on the off road model. I have the 16s and just recently purcahsed the pro comp rock crawlers (16x8) and they didnt fit cause of the calipers so I had to put on an adapter and that caused me some problems. Hope that helps a little.

gsxrronnie - what was the bs on those 16x8 pro comp's?? i was thinking about getting that rim for my 05, but dunno anymore.

Yeah Im not sure what the deal is completely. Im running them on my truck as we speak with an adapter but its not working. Im getting a shimy in the steering wheel and Ive been trying to locate a manufacturer who makes one that fits. I keep you posted if I find anything
