Just picked up a set of 17 inch Tundra rims for my '04 Tacoma. Does anyone know what size 17 inch tire will give me the same circumferance as the stock 265 70 16s? I don't want to change the overall gearing when I install the new tire/rim combo.

According to the math a 265/65/17 will give you the same overall size. Not sure how available tires like this are however. If you go with a 265/70/17 you're only increasing the size by an inch, and if you've got a V6 won't have any problem turning them.

there are tires that will give you the same offset as the 16 inch. The tire shop should know this.
