I am selling my 1981 Ford Courier. It is a 2wd with 118,000 miles. It is a 2.0L with a 4 speed tranny. It is in good condition for its age and still has a very solid body. Two new front tires, original interior, and has a working 8 track player! The sale of the vehicle also includes 15 various 8 tracks! The engine bay looks almost new, I have taken great care of this vehicle. I love it but due to the upcoming holiday expenditures needed, it has to go.I am the third owner of the vehicle and have done a lot of work to it. It has a
- New Cylinder Head
- New Radiator
- New water Pump
- All water hoses are new
- Aftermarket Sun Temp. Guage
- New Heater Core
- New Carburetor
- New Crystal Headlights with bulbs
- New Fuel Pump
- New Ignitor
- New Water outlet and thermostat housing
- New Thermostat
- New timing cover gasket, intake gasket, and exhaust gaskets.
- New valve cover gasket
This truck runs and drives great! Never overheats, always runs at 180 degrees whether you are stuck in traffic or out on the highway. Starts first time everytime and I live at 7000 feet! Gets 26 mpg in town and 35 mpg on the highway! I would not hesitate to drive this truck across the country! I have had the carburetor professionally tuned by a shop so it idles perfectly and will likely pass emissions testing (where I live does not require emissions testing so it has not been tested). I am asking $1500 obo and have invested much more than that into the vehicle.
