I was going to keep this truck two more years so I've been keeping it up pretty well. I got a new job / promotion so I popped for a new Tacoma, it comes this week.
I bought the truck in 1999 with 68k miles on it. The guy had some scratches on it. I put a front and rear hitch on it so I could use a portable winch (safety measure) in case I needed it. I elk hunt and end up in the snow on back roads with guys who pull horse trailers so this is a good thing to have. I never did anything most you guys would call 4x4'ing with the truck but it did see a good share of dirt roads given I hunt alot.

1996 Toyota T-100 Extended Cab 4x4 166k miles. (the truck is dark green)
I live in Kansas City, here are the details

1) Class III rear hitch
2) Warn Trans4mer, front hitch, and light bar
3) Heavy front skid plate
4) Cap
5) Tool box in the back
6) Sony CD player (kind of old a few buttons stick but it works fine.
7) A rear Amplifier (Kenwood) It's under the right seat.

Maint. records (major stuff I did)
1) 2006
- New front axles (toyota) Spring 2006.
- Had the replace a stabolizer while they did the
steering link (part of the recall)
- Had them flush the radiator & replace coolent.
- Had the dealer replace the left door hinges(they let
the door fly open and it bent one.. goof balls -works
fine now.
- New front bumper - clipped a deer, he put a slight
dent in my right front quarter pannel, it sprang back
but it still has a slight deformed spot on it.
- Changed tranny & diff fluids.

2) 2005
- New spark plug wires
- New fuel filter
- Put in a rear tool box
- Replaced Timinging belt (138k) and water pump
- New Optima battery

3) Before that (things I remembered)
- New BFG AT KO tires - They still have alot of tread -
Probably good for 2 more years
- I had the skip plate made up off the directions I got
from the T100 forum at a metal shop here in KC.
- Timing belt was replaced at 89k
- Did the full blown service (toyota) at 120k - cost me
over a grand!! ouch.
- Replaced the rear bumper in 2004 - some yahoo in a
pannel truck started moving with the left turn traffic
and bent my rear bumper as he hit me while our lane
wasn't moving. Insurance paid for it.
- I put Rancho shocks on it in 2000.

I'll follow up with pictures (I haven't taken them yet). It's a warm day so I'll take them today.

Things I forgot ...

It's a DX, with

AC
Cruise
Tilt wheel
Automatic
The cap is made by impulse and has a sliding window so you can access the cab rear sliding window. On the sides it has one lockable tilt open window on the drivers side and on the other side it has a slider with a screen window.

and I replaced the windsheild two years ago because of the rock chip you always get (it bothered me so I replaced it).

So where can I post the pictures - I took them a bit ago.
