1997 4Runner Trail-Ready, Supercharged

For sale is my 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4. Over the course of owning it, I've changed the timing belt (twice) along with all the other stuff in there (pulleys, water pump, etc.), and I've been really fastidious about making sure belts are done at least every other year. The alternator is about a year and a half old, and the valve cover gaskets were done at the same time. I recently flushed the coolant, and even more recently the power steering fluid. The battery is a brand new Die Hard Platinum (same as Odyssey). I just did plugs and wires about 6 months ago, and the fuel filter is about a year and a half old (they are considered "lifetime" parts). There are no leaks or drips, and the emergency/parking brake actually works. Before driving about 5 hours to southern Utah (Kodachrome State Park) last weekend, I checked the oil at 3500 miles and it was golden in color, and the air filter was replaced one month ago. There are no leaks or drips that I am aware of.
Obviously the big selling point is the supercharger. It's a gen IV charger according to the literature it came with, and has only been on the 4Runner for a year. Around Christmas time I picked up the URD 7th injector kit and 2.1" pulley, and it works great. At my elevation I haven't needed to replace the spark plugs with the 2-step cooler plugs, and didn't need to install the new fuel pump. I have those for whomever purchases the rig. I put on a Devil's Own water/methanol injection kit just to keep the intake temps down, and plumbed it to the windshield washer reservoir.
Anyway, that's the story. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Asking $10,500obo

I'm willing to negotiate the rooftop tent (Tepui Kukenam) with the sale of the vehicle.. Remember, it's OBO

I have clean title in hand. In the interest of full disclosure, the title is clean, but the vehicle is a Canadian theft recovery that was brought to the US and given a new VIN. The title states that there is an odometer discrepancy. I know that for the past 75,000 miles it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. Based on the condition of the seats and carpets, as well as the overall condition it doesn't seem like more than the stated mileage, and I've never feared otherwise.

List Date: 5/15/2014

Ok - I've had positive feedback on the rig, but not a single offer. I'm obviously overpriced. I love my 4Runner, but it's time to move on.

so...

Massive price drop!!!

I can add a new radiator to the list of repairs/upgrades now. I found a foreign object that appeared to be lodged in the radiator - curious since there were no symptoms like overheating or coolant smell. To be safe I just pulled it and replaced with a new one. Upon inspection there were no punctures or leaks, so again my loss is your gain! No harm, no foul, but a brand new radiator. And I only swore once! :D

Bump - still only $8500!

OK, I've decided that I'm going to split up the Supercharger and 7th injector kits, and return the 4Runner to normally aspirated. When the SC is removed I'll delete this listing and repost the individual items for sale.

I'm going to ask $720 shipped for the 7th. It's basically seen 6 months of use, and it will include basically everything that was original to the kit (except consumables, like shrink-wrap tubing, zip ties, etc.). I also never installed the 2-step cooler spark plugs, so they are brand new, as is the Walbro fuel pump, which I never needed. The URD sticker is even included. I prefer to sell as a package, but I will separate if nobody wants it all.
Thanks!
