All right fellow TTORA members you've helped me before so hopefully you all can come through again.
When I start up my 98 2.7 4WD Tacoma it sounds like it's about to turn off on me and then it somehow wakes up and and slowly gets to it's idle range of 750-850rpm. It literally get's down to about 10rpm or less and then it comes back up to normal idle. It goes away after I drive for a bit and after that it turns on like new, well almost.
This is what has been changed in the past or recently on it's 110K miles of road life.
Fuel Filter(10K ago)
TPS(30K ago)
Spark Plugs(month ago)
Oil & Filter(month ago)
Air Filter(month ago)
Manual Transmission(5 months ago) - upgraded to 2001 transmission due to mechanical failures in original.
Could it be the PVC falve?
Thanks guys/gals,
Tino
Out.
