WOW is all i can say about the output of my 2.7l 98 tacoma and my 40 series with deltaflow flowmaster... it sounds sooooo damn good... its not loud and its not ricey at all! its very very deep and mellow. It sounds great. couldnt be happier. For all you people out there 40 and 2.7 great combo

i did notice i had a leak in my exhaust manifold on my truck...where can i pick one up online at? any sites?

I'd like to hear it, as I am going to be looking into a muffler sometime soon.

Just one note for a lot of you wanting or getting Flowmaster mufflers. I had a FM 40 on my truck for about 3 years and the whole back end of it rusted out and blew a hole in it. Granted, I live in the salt belt up in Erie, PA with lots of cold and snow, but that might be something you consider when purchasing. It might be worth the money to get a stainless muffler if you live anywhere where things rust.

I just replaced my FM with a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler (same specs as the FM) and it sounds just about the same and was $20 less than the FM.

Given i live in Raleigh, NC and its middle of Feburary and the temp outside is supose to get to 70 today and 75 tomorrow i dont have to worry about salt and grime on the road... I would get a sound clip if someone can tell me how to do it... i dont have a sound recorder device...u can take my word for it...its soooo nice...

Do you have access to a camcorder?

You can just film the exhaust pipe and only use the audio output of the camcorder when copying the clip.

Did you Just replace the Stocker with the Flowmaster or did you cut the tail pipe off and just have it dump out behind the cab? I think im going to get a flowmaster when I get some Extra Cash

Replaced stock with Flowmaster...i actually didnt do it my gf took me and suprised me and got it done by a friend

maybe its just me but coming from a ford F150 5.4L with dual 40 series flowmasters and a jeep wrangler with a chevy 350 and a 40 series for a mustang with holes punched in it(from my driveshaft) i just dont want to put any exhaust on my taco b/c i just feel like it will sound like a pissed off bumble bee compared to my other trucks

haha very good reason but the delta flow 40 series makes it sound like it has a presence but not loud and overwhelming
