I evened out my truck w/Daystar 1" spacers. I also replaced all of the stock shocks w/Bilsteins. Once installed, I had gained an inch and five eighths of lift up front. It came out sweet. From what I have read, 32's should be no problem.

I have been thinking of going to 32's too, but from what I have read, once you have the 32's, you wish you had 33's. So, that is what I am looking for.

Soon, I am installing a complete package of Donahoe C/O's with Deaver springs and Bilstein 5100's. With that set-up I am hoping to fit the 33's.

I hope this has helped you.

right on, thanks ill look into that. 32x11.5 will be plenty of tire for me, itll fill the wheel well nice im sure. 33s are a headache with regearing , gas mileage, bogging, etc...once people regear i guess its fine but thats another 1000 bucks i dont have. just wandering if anyone had 32x11.5 on their stock tacoma and what issues they had with it.thanks for replying.

Are you looking into running 32's with the spacer lift only? If so, I had thought of that too. In fact, If I remember reading correctly, the tires will rub on the upper A arm w/o more lift. But I can be wrong.

That is why I figured what the hell. If I need more lift, I might as well do everything once.

Good luck.

I am currently running a 32 x 11.5 R 16 on factory wheels I have no rubbing issues at all But it does affect the gas milage. Hence my search for new tires and wheels.

Forgot to mention this is with no lift on the truck.

I had no rubbing with 32x11.50's on stock 15x7 alloys on my 99 Prerunner with about 2.25" of lift up front. Once I went to 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II's, though, the tires rubbed a bit, even on the street. I did the pinch weld mod, which lessened the tire rubbing, but still didn't get rid of it. I got the rims used from another member, and I can only assume that they had 3.75" backspacing cuz they stuck out alot. My guess is that with only 1" of lift up front, your 32s will rub alot more than mine did with rims that have 3.75 bs. Personally, I'd go with 2" to 2.5" of lift up front, whether using spacers or coilovers to make sure they clear. Otherwise, stick with the stock alloys and run 32s - my guess is that you're less likely to rub with more backspacing (4.5") and thinner 7" rims.

Hope this helps.

I have the same concerns... I want to do a lift, but $$ is tight now, but tires are bald, so tires are a must... lift comes later, but dont want to buy tires twice in 1 year or 2 years
Yes I have used that "search" thingy... the most i found was this thread

I have a 3" lift up front with 3 3/8" BS and I rub the pinch weld at almost full lock and I hit a bump. This is with 32X11.5 tires.
