I have a friend here at work that just got one and I was checking it out at break time. I know there full time 4wd but for some reason I can't get the High, low range stick to move into low. I tried putting it in park, nuetral, pushing the break in....everything. anyone know anything about them ?

thanks for any help.

you mean pushing the actual shifter down ? kind of like when you have to put a 5 speed jetta in reverse?

if the 4wd wasn't used much, then the linkage may be corroded. You may need to get under there and spray down the linkage with PB Blaster or something to free it up.

Yup in the older models you have to push the shifter down to shift.

she said the dealer guy that showed them the car did it fairly easy but she doesn't remeber how. she wants to wheel it too. I told her to come out with us.
