I was looking at Toyota's official PDFs on CT and it listed VSC (vehicle stabliity control) and DAC (downhill assist control) as standard features for all 2004 4x4s. Does anybody know if this is true, I thought it was an option. anyway here is the link, its under the features link.

The part about it being standard is false. VSC was only optional, and not available on trucks with locking rear diffs.

Available on V-6 trucks only: PreRunners, and 4x4s with either transmission.

DAC was never available.

4x4s were equipped with the A-TRAC system (active traction control), and 4x2s had the TRAC system.

EBD (electronic brake distribution) was also equipped on PreRunners and 4x4s.

They are. I was reading the table wrong. The VIN is supposed to use an "S" to indicate automatic transmission but the list I was looking at uses a "P" designation.
