Brand new (1500-miles) 2005 Tacoma PreRunner ,TRD Off Road, 4-Door, Indigo Ink Pearl ...
I've noticed this buzzing sound ... almost similar to a coiled spring being released ... from the front right side of the truck.
Here's a scenario:
1. Start the truck
2. Put the transmission in reverse
3. Back out into the street
4. Turn the wheel and begin to accelerate forward down the street and "Boiiiinnnnnng"
What is this? It sounds like it might be some kind of power steering assist or something. I have no idea what it is, but it only happens right after I've started the truck. Not really annoying, but enough to stir up a question from me.
Thanks!
Kirk
