Last week I bought a 2006 Tacoma 4cyl 5-spd Access cab. Nice truck with a few minor frame concerns

Steel patch plates cant even save save this one. Broken in half (Leading hanger for right rear leaf, just forward of front RT bed mount)

Luckily it came with a Safe-T-Cap repair Mid Frame kit... LoL!

Luckily, I am the Extended warranty! When I bought the truck I knew there was a double cab down at our local U-Wrench-it. It had been there 45 days and I did not know the condition. I expected the worst and hoped to chop a few sections for easy patch fab work. Instead, it quickly snowballed into a "Full Fledged" frame swap. Sometimes even a blind squirrel finds a nut!

2 hours and $500 later. Like new Warranty frame + fresh suspension & exhaust.

Now I just need to get the 2008 JK engine reassembled and off of the lift.
Chrysler 3.8L @ 200K and tapping noise ~ getting new lifters timing set and resealing the top end.
