First, I tried the search but it wasn't much help. A friend of mine wants to lift his 2wd 4runner. it's a 2000 (i think). Being a nissan guy myself (please don't be mean to me) I don't know a lot about 4runners. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good lift (3" or higher)? Also, any other suggested mods to go along with it. He already has in mind locking the rear and upgrading radiator. The only company I have found so far is RevTech.

3.5 inchs front is about as tall as you are going with the stock uppers and lowers. go with TC or camburg UCAs you may get 4 inchs up front.

like TC said, sonoransteel.com, just ask him not to include the front diff drop spacers, everything else will be needed.

or you can go with a totalchaos (chaosfab.com) LT kit and desert run it which im gonna do since mine is also 2wd.

2WD is esentially 4wd delete, so any 4wd lift would work. Revtek spacer lifts would work good, plus being 2wd you would not have to worry about diff drop.

Is this truck going to be a prerunner/desert style truck?
