Evening guys noticed some what I thought was oil but a little thin and didnt taste or smell like oil looked like it was comming from the tranny but nope or at least not that I could tell "night time" but it looks like it is coming from the top of the oil pan... anyideas or anyone else with a 3.slow and yes I love this lil engine.

Get the cylinders compression tested. This should give you and idea of the cylinder integrity.

my buddy just bought a used 90 pickup truck
he got it with 198K miles
He had to replace the head gasket and have it machined

Check the dipstick, it will be clean oil usually. If it is milky, or foamy, you have coolant/water in the oil... head gasket. Hence the "milkshaked" motor.. Also, white smoke from exhaust, kind of billowy, like a cloud, not dark like burning oil.

Did a oil change today and no milkyness no white smoke either sooooo, Im guessin Ill crawl under omorrow and take a better look. thanks for the input.
