I planned on running the gulches but decided against it due to me not knowing the trails and having just stockers in the group. Went up to Cripple Creek and back by way of Phantom Canyon and Shelf Road instead. We also took a spur off of Shelf Road, which was the "fun" area. We took my wife's new Tacoma and brought along a couple friends. The guy in the Jeep had never put it 4low yet, and was fun to teach him a thing or two about wheelin. The spur road was perfect for noobs with a stock vehicle. The snow and mud made for a real good time. Even with the street tires on two of our rigs we got through with out any issues. My wife was stressing a bit while getting through the slippery stuff but she did great. It was nice to sit back and relax and be the passenger. Here are the pics!
