Got a 98 Tacoma with 15 x 8 inch wheels and have enough lift to clear a 33, just looking for some pics of guys with stock TRD wheels with 33 x 12.5's. I don't want to go with aftermarket wheels so anyone with stock wheels with a 33x12.5 l would like to see it. Thanks

Ive got 33x12.5's on stock TRD 15x7's...they fit, but I'm not sure how to post pictures on here though. I thought that the stock wheels were 15x7, by the way.

My mistake, they are 15x7, could you send pics to [email protected]? Anyone else have any pics? Thanks

I wouldn't recommend running 33x12.50 on a 15x7 wheel - you will end up cupping the tires as they are 5.5 inches wider than the wheel - you should have at least a 15x8 or 15x10 for 33's.

32's are fine on a 15x7 wheel.

Well if I can't get a 33 x 12.5 on my 15 x 7's I will have to go with the 10.5's. I really have no interest in going with wider aftermarket wheels. Any luck on those pics 99TRD?

Why the 10.5's? Why not a 15x8?
I ran a 33 12.50 on a stock steel 4-runner rims for a long long time, first with a set of BFG MT retreads, and then like two years on x-terrains with no problems, I know it's not right, but that's what I did, they wore a little funny, but not too bad.
Be careful with the 15x10's, I wasted 600 bucks on a set or AR 639's in a 15x10, and they stuck out WAYYYYYYY too far. Had 'em on a week, two tickets.

I wouldn't do 15 x 10's anyways, I don't like the look of a wheel that sticks past my fenderwell. Anyone with pics of a 33 on a stock wheel? TIA

Really, dont go with 12.5 width on 7" wheels especially if you wheel, your tires will wear funny and you are very likely to pop the bead especially if aired down. If you are not too concerned with looks, you can find relatively inexpensive 15x8 wheels, but if you want to keep stock wheels, go with either 32x11.5 or 33x10.5...
