'03 tacome trd, 5speed v6, coilovers, upper arms, maybe 3" lift, 3" all pro rear springs in back, thinking about tubbing the firewall, maybe 1" bl and putting 35 12.50x15 on 15x8 wheels, and also doing 4.88 gears. im running 33" tires now, i can get them to rub a little under a hard turn/stuff. think it would really benefit me any off road? not worried about gas mileage or road crap. i do more expolring type wheeling, a little rock crawling, a little fast fire road stuff. opinoins?

im not worried about making them fit, i can do that, (hammers and sawzall) just curious if it was going to be beneficial, i know they weigh a little more wich would put more strain on everything in the front. i can get a smoking deal on a new set of 35" mtrs' thats why im asking

Mine is tubbed up front and fenders cut quite a bit.. still rub a little on the frame and inside front fenders juuuuust a liiittle bit on full stuff full turn. I love it but your maintenence will increase.. but not all that bad. I wheel often and put the truck through its paces.. I love my 35s:)

*edit: no body lift, 3" suspension

I would stick with 33" s until your truck cant outperform your skill :2cents:
It will save you alot of money.
Great post.

Lock it front and rear, and it will be quite a while before your 33's are more the limitation than your driving ability...
