Good luck, you will rub without doing some (a lot) of trimming and cutting. There are some guys on here that are running around that much lift with 35s and they are happy with it, but it you are dead set on 5" of lift, should be 2" coilover, and three inch body lift. Cranking coilovers to three inches can tend to give a bit more of a bone jarring ride up front. Ideally, you want 6"+ to run 35s, even with trimming.spill_02 said:anyone running 35's with a say 2 inch body lift and 3 inch coilovers, if so let me know how it works out.
well i was just wondering,i have some brand new 33 in. MT Baja Claws. Lift wise i have 2 inches of body lift and about 1 inch maybe a little more in suspension, my leafs are sagging so im gonna get the 8 deaver pack or possible the 9. just curious though, ive seen some guys running it i just wanted to know how the 35s and that kinda lift would go, i figure it would be problems plus the truck is doing great the way it is.shovelracer said:I have the 3/3 lift and I would say maybe. You most likely would have to trim some metal and would most likely hit the frame/body mounts at full turn/stuff. Maybe with rims that had a small backspacing. If I put 35 on mine I would have these concerns, although there was still some room when I had 33s. Spend the money once and get the Tuff Country lift. The BL can really mess up some stuff in an accident. Buy the time your done it will cost the same.
