Ok, real newb question here...

Will a V6 rear 3rd member fit into an '85 solid front axle? Same for the high pinion 3rd, will it fit in either front or rear?

I want to set-up a V6 or HP third for the rear of my truck so I can just swap out the 3rd so I don't have any down time and then set-up the 3rd out of the rear for the '85 front axle so I can install it when funds will let me. Will this work or am I missing something? I know I can't do a TRD 3rd without mods but I'm going Detroit.

The reason I ask is because of the way that Marlin has worded their empty housings...
MC-14663, V6 Empty Rear Housing, $285
MC-14663, High Pinion Empty Front Housing, $285
