I've got the 2.7 L SC. So how much hp does the stock 2001 2.7 L four have?

this may be a little off the orginal topic, but ive been hearing a lot of 2.7 S/C posts goin on and this is the way im lookin at it from my standpoint, with stock motors we're only off by 25-30 hp from the v6, my whole exhaust upgrades and intake have pretty much brought me up to the point where my friend test drove mine one time and had a hard time comparing it to his 98 v6 4runner (both with same tires and wheels, roughly same weight due to mods) , the SC on mine would prb bring me up to neck in hp with a plain v6 SC'd if im doing the math right, but ive also tampering with the idea of LC's performance head which they have no info on the site, but thats another big mod right there, bottomline the 2.7 has potential its just a little extra work

3.4, i have a header also, yes its may not be exactly as much hp as a v6, we just had a hard time comparing it, we could have raced, but he SC'd his before i had the chance to

K&N FIPK would be cool...and a flowmaster 50..and what kind of header?...havent found any for my engine

i got the downey one for 180 bucks at bajaconcepts, but i had to get a piece of stainless and weld an extension to get to the cat, fixed all the leaks and it runs smoother than silk. all in all i spent about 90 on the muffler (magnaflow 18x5x8), 30 in piping and the header which pretty much was the best 300 bucks i spent and normally someone prb would have paid around twice that amount, for a header id go with the one from LC engineering, ull get what u pay for

Im guessding you have a tundra? There is a few headers for the V8, JBA, TRD, Gibson, SS autochrome.

If you have the V6, same part No. for taco headers.

Dont forget the 4 banger is a tad bit lighter and if he had a DCab then the weight is that much more different. I can see how it could feel like a stock V6. A butt dyno can be pretty deceiving though.
