Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has heard of putting the 4-runner hood with the hood scoop onto a Tacoma. I hear they have the same front clips...or at least the 96-2000 Tacomas do? I think it would look pretty good to swap one of them on. If anyone has any info or even know if it's possible, lemme know!

I am pretty sure it will not work for ya. If you look at the front tip there is a portion that bends down on the front of the 4 runner where as the tacoma doesn't. It wouldn't be to hard to add in a scoop to the stock hood. Just need some bondo and fiberglass skills.

it wont work.... the hood and grill on a 4 runner are different, its not a direct bolt on.

The only way is to do a compete 4Runner front clip transplant onto your Taco. Grafting a 4R scoop onto a Taco has been done, if you're relaly anxious to get that particular scoop.
